I’ve tried some content genres. I found that some genres has CTR and click value higher than other ones.
This is a result of a nearly survey, all infomation just for reference:
Music : 13.43%
Forum : 8.96%
News : 14.93%
Sharing site (free ebooks, softwares, upload site etc.) : 35.82%
Personal blog : 40.30%
Other service/contents : 11.94%
With music site, you may break Google’s rules. So I advice you not to try this content genre.
Forum : This genre may difficult on beginning but you’ll easier when your forum has a large of members. Let see Digitalpoint Forum.
News : If you have some friends or enough money to employ reporters you can start your electronic magazine. Start with all things you see. This genre require you must have writing and reporting skills.
Sharing sites: It’s the easiest and the most difficult genre. Easy because you just have a strong server, then share everything you have or invite people share with you. Youtube is an example for this genre. But it’s difficult, if you don’t be careful you’ll be banned by Google, and a delicate server is not cheap. Think about your money you must spend before you can get back.
Personal blog: This is the easiest genre for everyone. You just write what you like and you’ll get visitor like you.
Don’t ask me what you like. Let think about you, about your interest. For example, I like internet and computer, so I write this blog, about everything I know.
Other contents: Just those mans know what those contents are. If you find a new service or new content genre, just put it on your web and wait to get rich
