You come to your company, but you want copy some data or do many work on your home computer. What should you do?
It’s very simple. You just install Remote Desktop ultility on you computer and config your modem.
First, you help enable Remote Desktop ultility.
Right clik on My Computer -> Properties
Choose Tab Remote -> Allow users to connect remote this computer. Note: You must create a password.
Turn off Firewall: (Firewall in some case can make your work harder)
Then you go to this address http://192.168.1.1 – in this example, I use LinkPro Router. User and password default is admin/admin.
Find NAT ultility -> Choose Virtual Server
Then choose Rule Index and type your computer’s local IP and port is 3389 .
Now, check you public IP by this tool http://showip.com or you can view it on your router.
Remember do not turn off your computer, let it on log off mode.
Now you can access your computer via another ones by Remote Desktop tool. Type your public IP, user name and password. Let’s do your job!
