If you want create a graphic button, you may use a button maker software to do it. But with a cheap price, those softwares is no need if you already have Photoshop.
I’ll tell you my method, which I’ve used to make many buttons on my site.
1. Create a new 200×35 file.
2. After zoom in (by using Ctrl and “+” ), choose Rounded Rectangle Tool
3. Make a rectangle image like this. The more Radius you choose, the more rounded rectangle you get.
4. Choose Blending Options:

6. Choose Type Tool and type what you want:
7. Click on “eye button” to turn off background layer:
8. After done, save the file in a GIF, TIFF, PNG and of course PSD formats. JPG format does not support transparency, so don’t save your file with this format.
