Today I’ll produce to you Dachi Waza. You must have a solid Dachi, then you can do right Kata practice.

Simple, Dachi like a foundation. A house can’t stand steady without a solid foundation. And you can’t move or attack if you don’t have a solid Dachi.

Zen is a quiet state of mind. When mind is in Zen, mind can be think more deep and wide than before.

For karate students, their power just prove with maximum strong when they’re in Zen. Yes, Zen is the most important in karate, and the same in another martial arts.

“Strength can’t win Kata, Kata can’t win Zen. Practice Kata without Zen, til old age just like never practice” - The advice of martial art forebears.

When you play a guitar, you’re mixing with nature and universe. You must forget everything, you’re in a empty place, with nothing. Just have you and your kata. When you feel that, you’re in Zen. Your power is gain.

How to have Zen? – Just Kata.

But how good Kata? – Just Zen.

You don’t split these two component. It’s one and it’s two. Like heaven and earth

You may not understand what I said, but that is all lesson I’ve learn in my learning progress.

If you want a detail method, I’ll tell you an simple method:

- First, practice your kata with your body.

- Second, practice your kata in your mind. Always think about it.

- Third, close your eyes and do exactly your kata with out thinking.

Kata is an art with full power and strong!

Long long ago, from this moment many hundred years, at Okinawa – Japan just have two karate strain , they are:

* Take No Uchi Ryu
* Take No Soto Ryu

Those two karate strain had trained many highly capable and famous instructors. Those instructors had formed many karate martial art union. Karate had developed extensively at Okinawa and then Tokyo.

Take No Uchi Ryu developed to Zen Soto strain. Those are typical instructors:

- Zen teacher Kisa Buroo lived at SHIOGAMA SHINZA pagoda – Shiogama city, Miyagiken village, Japan. He teached Karate Take No Uchi Ryu – Zen Soto strain at here – Choji Suzuki sensei is one of highly capable of Mr Kisa Buroo. In 1940, Choji Suzuki sensei came to Vietnam and had teached this martial art and he was progenitor of  Suzucho Karatedo Ryu strain.

- At Okinawa,  Mr Uechi Kanei was Uechi Ryu leader and Uechi Ryu Karate Okinawa Union Chairman.

Since Choiji Suzuki sensei founded Suzucho Karatedo Ryu strain, is has grow powerfully at Vietnam. Today, Suzucho Karatedo is the only Karate strain at Vietnam.
