Mail merge is the good solution to create a mass mail in case you need to write same content with many recipients.

You can use the Merge Tool from Microsoft Office to create mail merge, but how can we do if we need to add attachment in to mass mails?

I found a very good solution made by Wouter Westerveld (westerveld@users.sourceforge.net); with his script written by Java, I can write mass mail with attachments easily.

Preparation:

• Microsoft Word and Outlook, versions 2003, 2007 or 2010.
• Outlook must be configured such that no messages pop-up when one presses the “Send” button. One known problem is for example the spell check that pops up before sending an email.
• In Outlook 2003, the internal outlook editor must be used (this is default), not the word editor.
• MUST HAVE: The zip-file containing Outlook Mail Merge Attachment can be downloaded from http://omma.sourceforge.net.

How-to:

1. Set Outlook to work Offline.
   • Start Outlook, select [File] » [Work Offline]
   • This ensures that the email you send is stored in the Outbox before sending. You can try this easily yourself. Note: Make sure you do not accidently send the emails when you close Outlook.
2. Mail Merge:
   • Use Microsoft Word to mail merge your emails, just as you are to. They are now stored in the Outlook Outbox.
3. Add the attachment to all emails in the Outlook Outbox
   • Run (double-click) Outlook Mail Merge Attachment.vbs
   • You are asked which file to add to the emails. Note that you cannot touch the keyboard or mouse while processing the emails.
   • When the script is finished, it will display “Successfully added the attachment to [number of your emails] emails”.
4. Check
   • You are able to check your emails with attachment since they still are in the Outlook Outbox.
5. Send the emails
   • In Outlook, unselect [File] » [Work Offline]
   • Now the emails in the Outbox are really send.

1. Nokia X2-01:

Sometimes we need to make a photo which have vintage color. Vintage color make the photo becomes more classic and beautiful.

Step 1: Duplicate the Background Layer by pressing Ctrl + J. You should double layer every time editing to make sure you have back up.

Step 2: Create an Adjustments layer Shadows/Highlights to make the photo fade a little bit by choosing Image > Adjustments > Shadows > Highlights and set the parameter like image below:

With steps below we will make many Adjustments layers to mix colors, so you need to choose Image > Adjustments or click on the black and white circle like image below:

At layer board, click on the White part of Hue/Saturation layer, that is layer Mask.

Eraser unnecessary parts on the photo.

And the result will be like this…

Choose Background Copy layer and press Ctrl + M, then set parameters for the Curves.

Merge layers by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Then choose Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask. Set parameters like below:

And this is our final result:

In some case you will want to make your photo to drawing, for a new art look. Today I will tell you how to make it.

Step 1: Choose Filter -> Artistic -> Dry Brush

Change the parameters so that lines become blurry.

Step 2: Now you already have a drawing photo, but we’ll need to retouch the photo a few more.

Choose Smudge Tool.

Right click and choose the size of Smudge is 5px.

Then zoom your photo to 300% for easier editing.

Step 3: Retouching.

We need to use Smudge to brush by the lines in faces of model and other details.

You can draw like my suggestion below.

So after 10 minutes we already have a drawing made from photo, very easy right?

First, I just want to tell you a joke. Everybody think that the skin of models in the photographs posted in magazines is real, or at least is 90% same with the image (people think that models have beautiful skin, right?) but in fact these images was edited with softwares so people can see a very smooth, soft skin.

Second, in some photos, the editor was make an excessively action in the image so the skin looks very affected.

In this post I will tell you a simple way to smooth skin naturally by using Photoshop.

1/Press Ctrl + J for a copy layer.

Choose Filter->Blur->Gaussion Blur -> Choose parameter is 12.
2/Press V then number [6] for creating Layer 1 with opacity is 60%.
Create a layer mask then press [Ctrl + I] for a black mask.

3/Press [B] then [D] and then press [5] number to have Brush tool with white color and opacity 50%.

4/At this time, brush on anywhere you want to smooth, brush much for smoother skin and brush a few for fewer smoothing.
Note: If you brush on unwanted areas, then you’ll just need to follow this step: Press X for black brush then sweep into areas that you want to make sharpen.

If you’ve taken a portrait, then you would like to retouch the photo and make your photo lighter, limpid, and colorful. Today I will let you know how to do it.

In this lesson, we will use this image:

Step 1: Change the facial features.

Choose Filter -> Liquify (or Ctrl + Shift + X)

Choose Forward Warp

Choose brush size 100, move the mouse like the guide below

Step 2: Acne reduce and skin smoothing.

Choose Patch Tool (J).

Choose the acne skin area and then pull it into the beauty ones.

Use Neat Image or Portraiture plugin to make the skin of model smoother. In case you want to get a better result, you could use my method that will be post later.

Step 3: Making effects

Choose Image > Adjustments >  Brightness/Contrast

Choose parameters like below:

Choose Image > Adjustments > Selective Color

Fill the parameters like below:

Create a Filter channel by choosing Image > Adjustments > Photo Filter.

Step 4: Create light.

If you want your photo have a little blur light then you can do these steps below:

Choose Brush

Choose suitable size:

Brush on the rear of the photo like this:

And we will have this result:

Photoshop for Beginner: How to create a jump image

For creating a jump image, you will need to use a D-SLR camera with a high shutter speed, continuous shooting mode. Hunt the right moment and then you will have the result:

Before start editing, download these stock at here.

Step 1: Extract model out of the background.

We have many methods to do this task. You can use Lasso tool, Selection tool but in this case I will use Pen tool.

Remember to zoom image to 300% (by using Zoom tool or Ctrl +) for easier editing.

Step 2: Begin cutting.

Use Pen tool click at one point and then draw by the object.

Step 3: After draw one round by the model, right click, choose Make Selection with parameters below:

Then press Ctrl + C for copying.

Step 4: Press Ctrl + N (or choose New from Menu) for creating a new file, with parameters below:

Step 5: Choose Gradient tool (G),

Choose color for Gradient and set to Radial Gradient.

Set color with parameters below:

Step 6: Hold the mouse and move from center to right corner

Press Ctrl + V to paste the model into this background.

Move model to fit with the background.

Step 7: Insert cloud images into the photo.

Use bright brush to draw the light, then put it below with model and change the opacity to 40%

Add airships, cars, butterflies into the photo.

Step 8: Double the layer of model by pressing Ctrl + J

Choose Drop Shadow effect with butterflies, airships and cars.
